ANSWERED PRAYER:
One mom prayed that her highly educated son would finally land a job, after several years of unemployment. Shortly after Arise! Cry Out!, she received a call from her son saying he had been offered a job! We’d love to hear how God is answering the prayers you prayed at Arise! Cry Out! Click “comment” to share. 1. We prayed that my daughter would be able to share about Jesus being our savior in her community Christmas show. When I got home, I received a call asking if she would like to sing a solo of "Silent Night" as part of the performances. She gets to sing "... Christ the Lord is born ..." to families with a variety of beliefs.
What a fast and specific answer to prayer! Can't wait to see what else God is going to do!

  2. Last night, my musician son (who plays mostly pop rock)sent an email that he had been thinking of us and playing the piano (like he used to). Attached was incredibly beautiful piano music entitled "Lullabye for Mom and Dad". Thank you, Lord, for this special blessing.

  3. One prayer that I prayed at ACO was that my husband, my children's father, would step up to assume the role of spiritual leader in our family so our children (particularly our teenage sons) could have that role model to follow. The next day, without any suggestion or prompting on my part, my husband called all the family together for a devotional time and announced that we would begin doing this on a daily basis! Praise God!!

  4. As 75 women gathered to Arise! and cry out for the generations in Sherwood, Arkansas, there was a powerful stirring in that place! God moved in His mighty way through the hearts of women and lives were changed. The men of our congregation had been praying for 24 hours prior (each for an hour at a time-or longer if they chose) in the same room that our women would be in the next day. Some praying with their knees in the chairs, others embracing the chairs to pray. Many of them stated that it changed their hearts as well. They were so convicted through this that they placed notecards of encouragement and scriptures under each one of the ladies' chairs. WHAT AN ADDED BLESSING TO OUR DAY! ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO THE LAMB. WORTHY IS THE LAMB!

  6. I was so blessed at our ACO in Beaverton, Oregon. Singing praises to God, asking for God's forgiveness and knowing through Christ's blood I am washed clean, thanking God for so many blessings, and lastly praying for our precious children was one of the highlights of the year 2009 for me. Joined by friends I've made in small groups, fellow church members and new acquaintances I felt so at home. How wonderful it'll be when we all are in heaven together with the Father and see what fruit has been borne. For me personally, I came to realize that when I'm alone during my evening prayer time I need to pray on my knees. Then I give God all the attention, and my mind doesn't wander. Thank you Lord for setting me straight.

  7. Our prayer warriors were mighty at our ACO site, the Jubilee Reach Center, Bellevue, WA. I reconnected with several women from my church who pray with other MIT groups. We sang bold and loudly with the DVD, as if we were in the same room with Fern and the ladies, feeling God's powerful presence. And, God allowed me the privilege of praying for several moms' prodigals. We will see God's work in the days ahead, as we wait expectantly in faith. I praise Jesus for MITI and for this incredible event. Makes me want to spread the word to encourage more moms to pray with us!

  8. We encountered obstacle after obstacle over the past month of planning for our ACO event, but God was faithful every step of the way to help us "leap" over them all!

We were thankful to see the day arrive and although the group was small, the Spirit was so very sweet and prayer was indeed "in one accord". As we moved into the intercession portion of the program, one of our older ladies in attendance collapsed. We stopped the DVD and corporately prayed for her as we waited for paramedics to arrive. After about 30 minutes had passed, she was able to walk to a car to be taken to the hospital and checked out the same evening. She is doing very well today and docs seem to think it was a heart-related issue that could possibly have been fatal. She shared with us that had she not been at the ACO event, she would have been home alone for most of the day and would have been unable to get help - God is so good! After her departure, our little group agreed it was important for us to carry on. We picked up where we left off and prayed mighty prayers for our children and schools.

God had bigger plans than we could have imagined for us that day, we were privileged to be a part. May He bring the increase to the seed we have planted!

  9. All creation joined us as thunder and rain seemed to echo our time of praises. As we were about to close crying out "Jesus is the Victor", I felt like the thunder from the storm around us responded as well -- at all the appropriate times. Can you imagine shouting "Jesus is the Victor" then hearing a loud KABOOOOM of thunder - no orchestra could have done that. It was magnificent!

New moms were blown away and our veteran moms were blessed to make new friends and were encouraged by Fern and Miles.

As Crimson Bridge began the last song ... "Jesus, He can move the mountains...our God is mighty to save..." the electric power went out and the DVD froze, but the words of the song were still scrolling so we continued to sing! GOD'S POWER DID NOT FAIL US. Our sound guy could not explain how the words were still scrolling without any power.

Although we were few, we believe we sent the legions fleeing, binded the broken hearted, tore down strongholds and glorified our King. It was unbelievable! A homeschool mom asked if I could please come and share with her group - another mom who used to pray in a group asked how she could get involved again - our new moms were still talking about it at church the next day!

I praise God for this great time of praying corporately for our children and schools!

  10. Praise God for all of the answers that will unfold as the days go by. Just experiencing how God knew exactly who (a stranger before this time) I should pray with during the time of intercession and that we would discover the depth of our grief and the breadth of our longing for our prodigals to return to their borders. God comforted us with a comfort that can only come from him as we joined forces to battle the enemy and his destructive ways. To put up a thorny hedge of protection, to let go of our guilt, to invite God's power into our otherwise powerless situations. Wow! As I bowed my head in final prayer, I looked upon a towering pile of crumpled kleenex resembling a small mountain of despair, but God, in all his glory, pressed upon my heart that he has stored all my tears in a bottle, they are precious in his sight, they are a treasure, a living sacrifice, and that kleenex became holy. I could not throw it away, but rather gathered it up, put it gently in my back pack, and brought it home. Hope. I have a renewed hope in my God, Jesus the Victor! Hallelujiah!

  11. Oh, God's GOODNESS and GRACE! What a privilege to be a part of ACO! A little bit of Heaven, for sure - reminded me of the 20th anniversary in Dallas. I was impressed, too, by the "Worthy is the Lamb" in many different languages. Also, Miles' talk on the hyenas going after the baby animal, relating to the "Hyenas" in our lives and childrens', and the need for corporate prayer. The "shower of blood" was an amazing word picture for me. My friend and I have prayed together with MIT about 10 years, and were priviliged to pray in our huddle with a new mom who has a kindergartner. Found out later, that she is a friend of the mom who just joined our MIT group this year. God is so amazing to orchestrate all the details of our lives!!!
All praise to Him, and thanks to all who worked so hard to put such a beautiful praise and prayer time together. Our MIT group has prayed for you for months.

  12. Thank God for the extended time of personal and public confession. I was surprised at the sins we shared that we had in common and felt washed clean in the Blood of Christ, our Lamb and Victorious King.

  14. I attended ACO at the Rock and was not supposed to be able to attend the event on 11/14. I awoke early the morning of the broadcast and began to pray deeply for our children. My husband looked at me and said, "There is nothing more important for you to do today or any day, cancel everything and GO!" Two very significant things happened that day. First, as Fern prompted us to pray for prodigals... I was pared with a young Mom She surrendered her heart to Jesus at ACO at the Rock weeks before! Now, the young woman, she herself a newly returned prodigal, was praying for my prodigal son. In addition, she is the daughter of the dear friend who had introduced me to Moms in Touch 24 years ago. I had prayed for her nearly all her life! My heart was filled with awe as I experienced God's power and love in this most amazing way.

Secondly,as we were prompted to pray for mountains to be moved in our lives... I was pared with a woman I hadn't met before. She prayed for my 29 yr old son and his fiance's salvation. She prayed with such powerful conviction I felt it "broken in the heavenlies". It is done. Assurance and peace settled over me as it never has before for my eldest son. I am waiting expectantly for the day he and his fiance claim Jesus as their Lord! These are just two of the significant moments I encountered at ACO. All praise and glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  15. Arriving at our host site to set up, my friend and I were not feeling well. I had a headache that turned to nausea and she had slept very little. We prayed and forged ahead, and as we did, the symptoms soon disappeared. Before and during the event, there was such joy that just overflowed in that place for one another and for the Lord! There was a point where the video just quit, and for a few minutes, the two technician women were at a loss as to what to do about it. Women were praying, and taking a break. Soon the two came up with a solution and it resumed and continued to work. There was not a large group in our sancturary, but until later I was sure there were more than there were, it was so lively and joyful! A few women stayed afterward to pray for specicfic needs. The comments were so positive--"Life-changing", "Impacting", etc.

  16. I had the privilege of praying with 8 other women including the sound lady! We were a small but mighty group, the confession time was particularly touching with the women that I did not know very well! Tears flowed easily, knowing that it was a healing time.

The next day at church a female unsaved friend came, completley surprised me! She had been to church 3 times before but I never saw her or was not there, God gave me a glimpse of what He is doing in her life.

I also met a friend's sister at church who was at a different ACO event than me! We had been praying for every province and territory to be represented in Canada! This woman had spent 10 yrs way up north and just came back from visiting there sharing with me that she has many contacts up there and even knows translators! This woman and her sister have never been involved in MITI, but know that God is calling them to pray and start groups!

There was one province that was not represented with an ACO event! The other day I got an email from a woman from that province who heard Fern on a Canadian national Christian Broadcast where she was interviewed on Nov. 12. I have received many emails from across the country wanting more info. God is opening up the floodgates beyond all we can ask or imagine!

  17. The Holy Spirit's presence was so powerful from the very first song on. There was weeping during much of the prayer times, especially BOTH confession times. The prodigal & mountain prayer times were very moving for all & God divinely put the people together that He wanted to pray together! The worship was as it should be - with ALL our hearts for Him who alone is worthy! He was lifted high indeed! To Him be all the glory! May the body of Christ be revived that He may be exalted as He should be more & more! Thank you all for heeding His promptings & doing the work to see this through

  18. I was host site facilitator at Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. What an awesome and powerful day of prayer with 18 women. After Arise! Cry Out! concluded, my Pastor's wife asked me to start a Moms in Touch group for evenings and we will begin January 4, 2010. Praise God!

  21. I was blessed with a funny little answer to prayer immediately after the ACO in San Diego...as I walked out of the Rock Church, I sat on a bench to enjoy the sun for a few minutes while waiting for a friend...As I sat on the bench, an older lady with a cane was next to me and she was on her phone and somewhat distressed...when she hung up, I asked if I could help her, and she shared what she was upset about...she had been waiting there for almost 2 hours for her husband to pick her up, and he hadn't come yet, and she was worried something had happened...so I prayer with her, asking the LORD for peace, and safety, and that whatever the reason was that her husband wasn't there yet, that it was a simple misunderstanding and nothing serious and that he would be there soon...It was maybe about a minute after we said Amen, and there he was...PTL, he was ok...God is Good, all the time!!
